2004-2005 Marching Show…

Students and Families;

You are invited to become a member of the Coudersport Marching Falcon Band!!! As a member of the Falcon Marching Band, you will perform at varsity football games, local parades and competitions. The band has traveled to such places as Atlanta and Orlando! This is your chance to be part of an organization that strives for excellence and represent our community and school.

The success of the group lies mainly on its members. A lot of hard work and dedication is required for any organization to be successful. This holds true for the Falcon Sound Marching Band. There is a strong bond that grows from this group that may last throughout your high school career. You will have the opportunity to play alongside other students in grades 7-12. The marching band is one of a few organization that allows you to do this.

We are also very excited to have the potential to welcome students from Austin Schools. We hope to continue a tradition that has been a great experience for all involved. We are also pleased to announce the addition of Mrs. Penny Gresh to the Marching Band Staff, which Mrs. Patty Symans will also be part again this season we’re proud to say.

We will be performing the music from “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” this season, featuring the tunes: Candy Man, I’ve Got a Golden Ticket, Oompa Loompa and Pure Imagination.

The costs to be involved are as follows: we are going to be using a Black Marching Shoe again this year, cost around $20, every student in the playing band will need a lyre and a flip folder for their particular instrument, cost around $15, and any money for concession stand food at games, etc. We will give you a Band T-Shirt and assign a uniform to you. We are hoping to receive new uniforms finally this year after 13 years!
